Batam Harris Resort 201007 - 211007

ONE fine weekend, we took a little trip to batam.

Cost of resort: 158 for 2 pple. 2 days 1 night. 1 pizza lunch. 1 trip to city. 1 free 20 mins spa session, 1 breakfast. Ferry cost not included (abt 35)

Best part of holiday: Watching dirk kuyt score twice ( 2 penalties) agst everton. Got free scv is imba...

Every thing else gotta pay though.. Water sports activities all are charged in sgd. as this place clearly caters for sg tourists..

We tried

1) banana boat .. 3 of us sitting on the banana shaped float and this motorboat turns at sharp angles as u r hurled into the water.. poor jen collided with aik siang.

2) canoeing .. very fei .. can just do in ECP but since part of the package just do

3) parasailing .. u fly high high in the sky while boat tows u along. Looked scary initially but wasnt that high after all... juz enjoy the scenery from up there.

All this for $45 i think...

Spa session wasnt anything.. we were juz apprehensive whehter there was special service.. n we only stripped down to underwear not everything. but i heard gals is everything strip..

City centre wasnt any much.. we ate fried chicken.. had some trouble conversing in english to the pple there... then the rest of time juz spent playing water polo in the pool, basketball ..

There was this special performance by some natives while we were having dinner... we also weren't sure how much to tip them as they clearly approached table by table asking for dedications n songs...
