Car dependent
The past week has been a semi-hectic week indeed. But it has been cushioned by the convenience of a car being available. After 3505 mid term last week, i took 2 days to recover from it cos' besides my SS, i have put in zero effort for these 2 mods. And i still have 10 over more webcasts to catch up for this. In any case, I was invited to a my SS grp mate's 21 bday party which i was too lazy to go to since it was in Pasir Ris on Sat night. And here i was thinking tats the end of the era of 21 yr old parties. Well, the rest of my SS grp went even tho' we aint tat close.. i guess me being yr 4, and them being freshies realli got generation gap.. Even so, they are so nice to take attendance for me when i skip SS tutorials.. i shall make it up to them by putting in effort for the upcoming project due!
To chronicle the past wk, MAF celebration
After the accenture talk was an annual visit to nus roof.. then fri, sat were dota recovery, anime days where i finally caught up wif my naruto after the revelation that yl had burned epis up to 160 so i could watch high quality ones on my comp instd of on u tube. and then it was back to the books wif fyp due on mon, fna test on tue, fna tutorial on wed and 4601 assignment due on wed.. Was kinda disappointed wif fna not tat i put in maximal effort but considering i attended all lecs n tuts and got do most tutorials.. it would have been the one of the rare nus modules i got put in effort for.. but tricky mcq questions were plentiful.. juz hope the lingo confounds all those chinese prcs n the mean is lower.
Mon was fyp day and it was the first time i drove to simtech.. the convenience of the car indeed.. and i took a long way too cos i subconsciously turn out at bukit batok .. instd of carrying onto the pie.. and it was very frustrating cos i was already 30 mins late.. so in the end when i reached the place n found a legal parking space, my prof had already gone for lunch.. so i signed in msn and was jioed to go lim kopi wif unmanipulable reng n zhiwei n gang. as i was heading out, LUCKily for me, the prof came back.. and i had a give him an update on wad i had done the past 2 wks(which was close to nothing). But there was a new ntu fyp student ard and she shouldered much of the arrows.. she juz started on that day itself! then she ask me.. so u come every wk? how much have u done for ur fyp? and i m like "!!!" .. but her 2 mths absence meant that she had a detailed workplan done up and a good report on what she had done. BUT still, i was shocked thaat mon was her first day.
and today was kinda bz too.. i thought can copy finish 4601 from 3 to 4 but my parents arrived le.. so i had to pick them up..even so , green apple made a good impression on my parents by helping them carry luggage.. and it was quite comical as my mum was like talking chinese to him. 你要去那里? but he answered well too.." oh i m going home" and he was asked another qn but i forgot..
time to relax a while again.. it really felt a bit weird taking bus when i haven been doing that for the past 7 days.. driving to sch is a convenience but it is a damn chore finding parking.. lucky i master the src siaming technique liaoz
