Pondering
today, xz's mystery mac breakfast date's alleged mystery tall girl in blue that was in library had entralling tales to tell.. she also made a good point. It is interesting that 2 pple make the same pt on separate occasions on the same day.
however career talks are flowing in fast.. makes u feel so old and pressures you to start planning for the future.. it is times like this when u wish u were bonded and thus no need to worry that much.. but the fact remains.. and it is really time to grow up and source for the future.. plan plan plan.. market yourself.. network .. act desperate and willing to learn.. or shd i juz piah for a simtech place? in retrospect, there could be some gd pts abt simtech too as tan kk mentioned.. a future job .. and it feels so familyish n company like when u receive mails like.. join the simtech bowling competition. or simtech family day.. things u wun get if you were to get a nus based project.. yes, i realise i shd be happy indeed.. got this mr tan who will be my main correspondence when i use the lab.. he treats me so well.. hello melvin, you eat already? you know how to take bus here? got shorter route you know.. and then its like he brings down your guard and softens the tone and makes you feel at home even when you are in the lab using the $50 K spectrum analyzer.. and his "you which yr ah?" , "you been thru NS?", "you look very young!" and his warnings like " dun dl mp3s and video clips like you young pple do wif the simtech server" .. it is juz so fatherly.
the saying that every cloud has a silver lining is true. its time to seize the moment n let the feeling flourish n flow.
P.S i saw ivan yew in person today, not wad u will expect. and EXxon Mobil career talk food is really IMBA
