Modules

In an interesting turn of events, jt called me while i was having my SS lecture. Coincidentally we were discussing labour strikes and human resource management and how to handle employee issues.. let me digress a bit.. the freshies n arts pple really copy a lotta notes.. i dunno whether it is me or is that why i m not getting the grades. but the pple ard me juz keep taking notes non stop.. for me.. i merely take down impt stuff but my gosh, my SS class damn onz.. and since particpation is a factor, u can see the enthu ness of some pple who haf made their intentions shown. but back to the call, she asked me whether i wanted to join the 6 to 7 pple who were going to drop 4601 and swap it wif another mod(prob 4411) cos they were appealing since the deadline for drop was mon early morning.. this was becos the syllabus for 4601 was too much, the lecturer is korean and is incomprehensible at times, and bi weekly got graded homework and got one major project.. and the early lecs almost everyone catch no ball.. so from the cohort of 44 drop to now 37. and now, a merry band of 7 pple have come together to ask to swap module.. following this, negotiations wif bae took place and he dismissed it as its not that hard.. its only the front part.. but emails were sent to yap who gave all of us til tonight to decide if we wanted to drop the module.. and so the saga continues as my 4601 mates have engaged in talks.. the agents are deep in discussion and are hoping for a good transfer deal.. due to our extensive network thru frens n frens'frens, we are able to harness almost the whole cohort but what is imperative is our plea for a lighter workload. it is crazy that we r expected to have backgrd in silicon semi con processing when our basic backgrd is merely ee2004. hopefully a consensus can be reached, but meanwhile i haf to do that tut still!

As my weekly monday meeting wif prof comes about, it seems like robin's msn nick (FYP = fake ur prof) has become so true. But it seems like i have met my match. in some sense, it is good for me, at least he makes me work but i know now that it would be wiser to stick to my scope and not make some elaborate work over some minor stuff.. it is so harder to fake young profs.. especially those not in nus.. it can be quite irritating to spend so much time coming up wif a document or presentation n he only spends like 2 mins to browse thru it, machiam not appreciating ur effort.. and nxt wk have to start going the lab.. i guess final year cannot anyhow slack liao.. the impression really counts.. but it is still heart wrenching to see one's effort not being given a 2nd glance..


DEspite this, i still went to play dota wif 4b kias in cuppage on sun nite(the eve of my draft lit review) due to my obligation to sr who was leaving in 3 wks time.. and ultimate swayness was when my car kena birdshit in the cine outdoor carpark.. my car opposite bernard's one n only mine kena.. n believe u me, it was littered wif birdshit everywhere.. screen, top, every 400 cm sq got .. i shd have known given by the din in the air when i parked.. so it was a hard chore finding a car wash petrol kiosk in the middle of the night..


Interestingly enuff, it was my maiden attempt undergoing a manual car wash.. and for those uninitiated it costs 5 bucks.. and its a separate entity from the petrol pumping people.. and here are a few pics from xenbar.. one last wk left liao.. well it has been an interesting experience, esp wif jenny ard! i m sure yuanshuo will attest to that. And there was even a pleasant surprise ..

well its kinda hard balancing schwork n play..tho' i have to admit that this is the last yr.. i haf to piah! aja aja fighting!
