NUS education

As i webcast my 5th lecture of this sem, i realised one thing.. if merv = typical student of NUS, then a typical student goes to lecture to stone.. if too early, typical student(TS) will prob fall asleep after 13 mins of professor droning... if afternoon lec, after a sumptious meal at the technoedge, TS will prob sustain 20 mins of lecture b4 succumbing to the Zzz bug.. TS goes to tutorials for the sake of attendance and prob arrives 10 mins late.. cos he cant tahan 1 whole hr of tutor due to illpreparation for tutorial. TS goes to labs equipped with past yr students solutions, and does the expt for the sake of doing it.. *nothing learnt* TS goes home, stone, chat , play, watch tV, doesnt study until midterm looms... even so, TS has to wait til VERY last moment(ie hours b4 midterm) b4 panicking and starting to study... haiz wat has become of uni education... so slack...compared to sec sch(Os), JC(As), i think there is a need for a major exam b4 TS can work hard... but then again wat if merv != TS?
