Perennial bridesmaids
Progressive soccer achievements? At least we are edging one step closer by getting 2nd in Engin League.. 1stly must say tat wtf.. engin league winners juz get a medal each.. each one worth 2 buks only.. n the registration is 20 each team...NO PRIZE MONEY... our team IES cup also get 50 buks... n engin club lei.. so poor meh..
2ndly, SORE... lose to same team with same FAT lard as keeper(the asshole who taunted us)... as usual 7 goals for; 1 goal agst.. so ironic tat the two best teams of the cup meet in the semis, n lucky our team beat the indian team which wasnt too bad... minjie was hero.. save 2 penalties.. n nic scored the equalizing goal... oh in quarters there was a bit of bad blood too when we met Ken's team.. cos they imported KEn in n wanted to import one more TH striker.. If u wanna go by the rules, they were wrong.. tats y we, the underdogs, the self proclaimed most KB team in the cup, the team tat most guai lan in the tournament, questioned the rules... Ethically, we could haf allowed them to include the 2 new players.. but we compromise n let them include Ken.. Still there was a furore.. n we din wanna run the risk of not meeting our most bitter rivals in the finals.. Sad to say... in the finals, they adopted the total DEfence technique, then win on penalties, which is their speciality cos their GK so FAT, cover 3/4 of post. We ruefully accepted our silver medals... the remaining china team supporters were cheering for us too cos' 1stly they lost to Penalty Kings .. then 2ndly we play fancy attacking football... zzz .. to sum it up, this was heard on the sidelines...
"the 3rd placed team(China Team) won the bronze, the 2nd team(US) lost the gold" .. no mention of the 1st team deserving their gold.. after tat, in cohesion wif prev post's "frugal" theory, we went to eat Genki... lol .. then went bak to talk cok and play much more fun n entertaining soccer wif very li hai pple... some our hcjc soccer seniors (yr 4 n graduates).. they could haf won the league easily if they could play.. then went to reminscene abt old soccer days from TCHS to HCJC.. how us s3 team lost the final to s6 during interfac.. bridesmaid again... n all the soccer frenlies... hmmz wif final outside commitment gone, does tat mean i can start doing work?
