Adventure at SEA
imagine being picked up at sea by the police coast guard.. HAppening right.. wow the most interesting things happen to me.. Sat 15/1/2005.. after our brief yep costa sands(ECP) chalet where we celebrated 3 pple bday(FYI everytime our yep member bday we think up an elaborate skit for each victim.. juz like Robin kena faked by michelle n WL swamped wif medley of song/dance) .. Fangxi -- jeremy n kw tried to make her angry by treating her like maid .. Chung-- threw him into the sea then JL tried to piss him off.. Binghui -- Regina acted like she was drunk n biao bai to him, then we all see his reaction .. then we viewed the video, then we sorted out fotos, then bbq , then ps2 we8, then me n eric went to night cycle to Geylang to eat the soya you tiao at 530 am.. so happening from ecp to geylang.. we cycled past many pple making out.. then past by hotel 81 can see prostitutes displaying their wares.. go bak to chalet slp 3 hrs.. then check out in the morning...
after chking out, we went to kayak.. 5 dbl boats , 3 single ( i took single) .. at first everyone anyhow kayak.. cos a lotta 1st timers.. then play a while splash water etc etc.. but we din notice we were slowly drifting away cos of the super strong current.. we headed towards bedok jetty initially but somehow we were nearly to suntec tat side.. anyway after abt one hr we decided we betta head bak shore .. we din notice we were so FAR away.. cos we cannot recognise the coastline.. me n chinchao went to the back of the pack to jaga.. then after telling shell n tt to go 1st wif binghui.. left cuixia n huichee.. SITUATION : cuixia was feeling seasick cos we alr wandered out to the deep sea then very choppy.. huichee super small size.. then she juz tried out single kayak.. then cannot handle it.. so she was very tired already.. me n cc in 2 separate kayaks then we also cannot swap wif them cos one will be left behind.. in the end we tried ALL means to tow them.. side.. back tow.. but to no avail.. they couldnt even turn the right direction.. so i wanted to go bak shore to get help but cc decided to go instd.. i told him to go get speedboat or smth cos impossible to tow them.. at tis pt in time, we din realise we were DAMN far from ECP .. meanwhile the 2 gals n me were left in the deep sea wif so many vessels going past.. so scary.. gotta avoid the big ships.. n summore the 2 gals cannot paddle for long.. then suddenly got dark clouds too.. i so scared will rain but thankfully it din ( altho CC said he kayak thru abt 10 min of rain b4 sunshine) anyway after 40 min of waving my yellow paddle n yelling "help me! " to get attention .. i managed to get one PSA vessel attention.. he couldnt take us bak cos he had to be bak by a certain time and wat he told us shocked us.. tat we were very near keppel harbour... wah kaoz.. can actually drift so far away.. he radioed for MPA to help us.. marine patrol autorities i think.. after abt 15 min they came to our rescue.. so cool.. they told us sternly not to kayak more than 200 metre from shore and were very hospitable.. gave us biscuits n water n let us sit down even wif our wet butts.. i told them to go find chinchao cos its impossible for him to kayak all the way bak to ECP.. when we reached shore. we realised kayak uncle was super unhelpful.. he juz wouldnt help huimin they all to search for us .. cos he dun haf speedboat.. hm was super stress when she realised tat 7 out of 13 were not back yet at the stipulated time.. she n jeremy went to the MACs there to report, in the end cannot find any marine security then gotta get the drinks uncle to call MPA n report.. when the 3 lost birds arrived on shore.. we were aghast when we realised binghui, cc, michelle n TT were not back yet.. then gradually binghui kayakked back.. cc tt n mich had gone bak to the nearest shore and RAN all the way back to ECP cos they tot me,hc n cx were STILL stranded.. in the end.. all 13 of us were accted for.. THANKFULLY... coincidentally after i washed up, i saw teo tu an there too.. he was there wif his church pple.. all adolescents.. they also got one person din comebak in time then ask MEAN UNCLE to lend them a kayak to look for lost person.. but meanie uncle say cannot... after being stranded in the open waters for 1 hr, i learnt to stay calm in times of adversity.. cannot be frantic cos i m only guy mah after chinchao went to get help.. haha crap. cos of this, me missed my soccer session n was too shag n burnt to watch man u-pool .. come home just concuss for 16 hrs...
