Simpsons and PG
Simpsons was nice. But you had to be a Simpsons watcher to really appreciate the true beauty of the show. Watching all the familiar characters come together to do such a show is truly v nice. If it is able to sustain 10 over years as a cartoon, it is classified as the same comedy level as FRIENDS and Seinfeld. My only grouse is that the show was too short. Just for info, THE CATHAY parking is imba. after 10 pm then $2.35 entry fee. and after 5 i think is $1 per hr.and still got ERP even at 7 pm.
It was a free movie screening which i signed up at work. It was named "PolterGay"
From the name of the show, it already sounded dubious. At the entrance of the theatre, there was an organisation sort of booth which i saw the name. it was exactly the same organisation that i did my ctw on.
To confirm my suspicions, the show was abt 5 gays who were killed in a gay disco. 30 years later, the place was refurnsihed and this couple moves in. Then they are haunted by these5 ghosts which only the guy can see. It is a French comedy and the phallic symbol appears a number of times. A so-so show with few laughs and a couple of sexual references.
To further reconfirm my suspicions, juventus saw her jc fren who took the same lift up and he was widely rumored to have an alternate sexual preference. I realise that this kind of show is to let pple be more open abt such a sensitive issue but it will take quite a big effort to change Asian's mindsets on accepting homosexuals. Personally, I am neutral. If they dun chap me, i dun chap them. It reminds me of the time Senny called up IMH to fake as one of them and it was sort of classified to be a illness that u shd recover from. The idea of free speech n free thinking is still greatly controlled.
