The mystery of the missing slippers

end of sch. rainy day came to end. went to raffles hall where car was parked. spotted some dirt on driver seat.

bent over to wipe the dirt.

got into car. drove over to lib bus stop where jen was waiting.

jen got in. intended to go over hosp but fuel gauge was low.

decided to drive over west coast esso to top up. (yes, the west coast esso when late at night still got people watching others wash the car)

reached the esso. told the uncle to pump syn 8000 20 dollars worth. then was abt to get out to make payment.

*horror of horrors*

SLIPPERS MISSING. NEW(semi-new) BLUE NON SLIP slippers gone.. checked under seat, backseat.. and then uncle was waiting to see why this driver not getting out to pay.. look here look there.. flustered n din notice my footwear was gone cos normally on rainy day, prefer to drive barefoot. in the end have to ask vehicle commander lin to go to help me pay when she dunno how to do so.. nvr bring the smiles points card also.. causing slight delay again..

after that, went aside to check the whole car again.. dismissed the thought that i could have gotten into car without slippers.. which idiot does that? treating the car as a house where u take off ur foot wear b4 stepping in..

in the end, drove back to RH..

and mystery solved...

drenched slippers laying in the rain..
