rainrainrain
The signs were ominous.. a monday of non stop rain. it just wouldnt cease. i drove in the most torrential rain of my life. wipers furiously wiping. speed on pie was restricted to 30 kmh as there was slow traffic up to CTE. speed at orchard was 10 kmh.. it was simply madness trying to filter here n there, whether to give way or not, beeping horns here n there. i disregarded the old adage of dun drive to town. as such ERP = 2 dollar. cine parking = 3 dollar. what was meant as a mini celeb of ca2 being over incurred much driving frustration.
CA2 was scary. i left the binding to today morning and was a bit flustered when binding lady arrived at 920am cos my presentation was at 10 am.i still had to prep laptop and get keys etc.. after figuring out how to connect, i had 10 mins to wait for 2 sups n 1 examiner. Coordinating all 3 were difficult. i had to give calls to each office, hoping all would arrive on time. having all 3 of them together had an advantage too.. they could catch up on lost times.. when L arrived, she was asking G "hey where are u now?" "cant recognise u already" .. small talk banter .. its akin to nxt time when u lose contact wif some nus acquaintances then so many yrs later finally meet at some nus student's fyp presentation.
L shot down my fyp idea, but i was kinda helped by G. after all, it was his idea in the 1st place. TKK din say much, prob post hol mood after he came bak from 3 wk aussie hol. but i was pretty encouraged after that by my 2 sups who said i handled her qns well, and it showed a lotta backgrd knowledge.. but she certainly was good, she asked me to go str to my problem after she asked me to Fast forward my beginning slides which were pretty much crap to lengthen my presentation. G even said that if i fine tune my idea( coupled wif lotsa hardwork), some healthcare grp representative might even sit in for my nxt presentation.. sounds so far fetched!
at least this mini hurdle is complete. but fyp juz doesnt stop here.. i kinda dread going bak again.. after all it is dec hols!! i m so not ready for worklife.
