money grabbing mercernary medicals
it is apparent how $ is so impt in such times.
Even for personal needs, my long overdue 3 mth internship income came in and is fast dwindling. Just take a 2 days span of expenditure .. S$30 parking fine, S$90 bi annual dental visit, S$60 petrol topup.
and then the bane of medical expenses, tue was a trip to sgh.. ambulance transporting- 70 buks, ENT consultation another 55 ( a mere 5 min long referral to radiology dpt), and then radiology consultation was an unknown amt to be paid tmrw. and a look at the bills n scans involved is really scary(for eg an MRI costs $700!!).. no wonder doctors are paid so well..
in the meantime, the routine life goes on. i juz wish some xmas mood n festive joy could be infectious
