Assimilation back to sg life

Here are the NUS business school videos which have been POPPING up too much to my liking for the past week that i have come back and i keep seeing them on TV.. It has irked me damn a lot.. what a lame advertisement.. It is sad that NUS has to advertise SO aggressively on TV to garner more students.. and sad to say proving the point that SMU has actually overtaken them businesswise.. There was this hooha in the newspaper about the perks of smu education too and some nus gal going on exchange to smu and not liking the system, thereby preferring nus "study, mug hard" policy instead of smu "project, class participation, being vocal" system.. cos the students were virtually fighting tooth and nail to obtain participation marks. yar the vids are actually copyrighted from someone's blog but the content is realli stupid..

Anyway, the small little things that irked me are people NOT standing on the right of escalator UNLIKE the nice nice people in finland.. and the kiasu queuing in sg and the unbearably hot weather which has frequently prompted me to cut my hair soon.. i am also quite impatient wif the slow speed of sg.. my finland connection is SO DAMN FAST... uploading pics on blogger is much much more easier in finland. But one thing i can stand would be FOOD in singapore!

me cai eva joo went for a 5 P sakae sushi dinner and thereafter, had a nydc mudpie after abandoning TCC due to its exorbitant prices. Quote of the day: Cai's admission that A+ blood people are smart after being bothered by mosquitos on her ankle.. and me n joo both thanking her for the compliment.. and then came the 1.5 hr car ride home where we went holland v and met miss spore uni 4th and sent her home wif minjie's directions..

then today was the supposed visitation of the photograph exhibition at national lib BUT somehow it wasnt ard despite it being supposed to be until end may but so me n yl did a wee bit of shopping and went kinokuniya to buy books.. i was pretty amazed by the hype that da vinci code had brought with it.. i mean, i read the book like one yr ago and due to the publicity that the movie brought, the whole bookshop's main area is fronted by Dan brown's presence, his autobiography, and all kinds of books on religions, codes and signs and symbols.. i really cannot wait for Solomon Key to come out.. but all this hype is getting to me.. machiam the gomez incident and pple hopping on the bandwagon.. anyway have to thank yl for treating me to ajitei! too bad we din bring camera cos we had a spread which amounted to $38.91.. i ate unagi sakura set, then got egg wif pork naruto, cheese n tofu, chicken soft bone and red bean milkshake..(some jap words r inapprioriately used cos i cant rmb the words). eating wif working pple means i get to sponge off them!

and i cant wait to watch Xmen 3!! so many rave reviews!
