Turmoil Freedom!

In the wake of the controversy surrounding the Danish cartoons, many supporters and extremists have engaged in a crazy debate which is ballooning into a possible show down. A possible war of religion could result. For those swagu people like gordon n ALi who have been living in the well of penns state, this is a very good link to the whole hoo ha which is biased towards the free speech side. http://face-of-muhammed.blogspot.com/ .. even my fren KQY has commented in it.. boliao hor.. but the point is that it is too sensitive an issue to be dabbled around with.. as my secondary sch teacher mrs jenny wong mentioned b4, do not dabble in the unknown or other pple's beliefs.. i think i would be someone who rather not take a stand maybe mainly due to spore's system.. of cos i do believe in freedom of speech and after all it is a CARTOON.. surely ppl can take it wif a pinch of salt and exercise their sense of humour? but then again, islam is seriously something not to be made fun of .. well i m on the fence just like spore gvt.. in such a multi racial country, there is definitely no chance of singapore publishing the cartoons .. media censorship still is so strict back home..

i sure hope nothing comes out of this although it is seriously escalating into dangerous territory. more countries are publishing the pics in their newspapars as a show of solaridity for free speech.. even m'sia published too.. imagine that! i wonder what kind of backlash they will receive.. i heard the editor has been sacked.. but then i still dun realli grasp the cartoons' meaning..

On the academic side, i think i might be dropping one module.. i am cramming now so that go back nus can relax but now i wanna relax also so i bo pian drop one, then can crash interesting classes like entrepenurial finance or some nice english class.. by the way i m reading this text book on organizational behaviour which is super interesting.. i juz read abt cognitive learning and behavioural learning(stimuli-response).. although it is not within my module readings.. i realli love non-engin modules.. btw i have finally watched my long awaited last epi of s1 o.c and also the first few epis of lost which i missed in spore.. now piahing lost season after dhsewives..
