An update on the past few days before i flew off..
Yep gathering was a chore to organise. At first so many people agreed to come, then on the day itself, so many pple called in the morning to pang sei. After a period of indecision, we finally decided to go ktv(4 of us). It was pretty fun, wif me n cc making excellent duet partners, while amy n joy also sang their own songs. There was even a ghostly scene, u go dian 'zhang xin' by guang liang pin guan and u look out for the scary white figure which appears a couple of times. Then dinner came n danny peishan eric zl jeremy robin and shilin joined us for dinner at pastamania.. then the couples left and me jem peishan n eric went to BK to gossip cos' eric juz came.. felt veri guilty cos i misdirected eric to starhub centre when i was in the starhub branch in ps.. then he was stranded there in the rain n when he finally arrived a lotta pple had to leave liao.. anywayz all was fine in the end..
Then Sun got farewell treated by yilin for elizabethtown.. pretty boring movie and simply unrealistic altho' i would love to have a kirsten dunst as my flight attendant now(i m typing this on the plane cos the cinema shows all spoil). She is juz so spontaneous and bubbly, juz mi type keke. There was an interesting theory when both orlando bloom n kirsten decided that they were just substitute partners for their lovers and even tho' they were attached, when they met on the plane, it was like chemistry! They spent ages on the phone and they juz clicked.. well the ending was kinda impossible as she drew out a road trip for him to follow, coupled wif suitable music and finally leading to her. After tat, went for supermarket shopping and last min cooking tips from chef yeo..hope the sauces n sachets u chose for me will turn out well in finland..
1st day of school came and i din go! mj ty n weijie came my house to watch Saw 2 which i dled on limewire.. in the end, it turned out to be some black comedy too high.. kena cheated lor so they watched harry potter n prisoner of azhaban which is one of my fave bks n movies of all the HP series. then we went to the char sao fan stall to eat dinner and got a bargain cos they counted wrongly.. anyway after tat went to meet shilong n xingjie at Tangos.. Wanted to go Eskibar but sl was cold after 5 mins so we went swenson instd..
10th Jan 2006 Hari Raya Haji After visiting my grandma, i headed for the airport. i depart for Paris then to Helsinki. Thanks to those who came to send me off. I din expect so many people..Even weijie and shilong came n they have nvr sent the others off before hahaha.. thanks to those who called or smsed.. jialun, cai(i realli tot u were joo, u sound like her lol, canada still call me i was surprised), chomun (thx for calling from japan to say juz a few words even tho' u so giam n it costs a lot), zl, sis stef, sj, jiayao, audrey, yogi... i tried replying everyone wif personalised thanks but then i ran out of time cos kaizhao came so last minute juz as i was boarding.. so i had to rush to the plane, was delayed a while cos i brought a swiss army knife which was confiscated..then i started wif personalized sms at 1st but then plane taking off so i had to mass sms, for those who din get my sms, sorry i ran out of time, plane taking off so couldnt use hp..Thanks to amy, carol, cc, eliz, eva, jen, les, shilong, xingjie, kaizhao, weijie, mj, ty, nic, xy, ys, matt, copenheng, and my family who came to send me off.. so so touching tho' i dunno why everyone was so happy to see me go.. less one dota host, no more west coast alliance, one less driver. tho' ys tried his legendary tear scene on me, i was strong, i couldnt cry in front of so many pple lol. but the song i heard on the way to airport summed it all up.. * and frens r frens forever, ...., and a fren will not say never if the ... , tho' its hard to say gdbye, in the others eyes we know, tat a lifetime's not too long too stay as frens..* i cant realli remember the full lyrics but tats the gist tat made me sad..
