Definition of a university student

went to mug at YIH after dinner on Sun. Student yude approaches me wif a startling qn.. "hey how to do this past yr paper ah?" merv demoralized.. me haven even finish notes, haven even touch tutorials.. this guy come n burst my bubble wif his preparedness.. "oh tutorials do b4 already mah, now do past yr.." i rem b4 some midterm was studyin at lt7a, he did it again. he told me how he had alr done all d tutorials another time when i haven even looked at them... incident 3: exp DD breadboard.. on the 2nd lab, when we are supposed to start doing our breadboard, he was there wif the completed one, waiting for debugging!! FYI, i debugged my circuit on the eve of deadline.. there he was 4 wks b4 deadline..

as much as how it would sound, i haf nothing against yude, juz tat compared to me, a fellow hcjc student, i pale A LOT in comparison to him.. which comes to the definition of a uni student which i have divided into 3 categories

1) MUgger : Reread lecture notes, webcast lectures even if they din miss the lec..complete tutorials b4 discussion, prepare adequately for test way b4 test.. go for consultation.. attempt ALL past yr exam qns, email lecturer/tutor regularly. Specimen: mervyn lian, edu Y, desmond

2)sMarT half-sLacKeR : doesnt put in as much effort but still churns out results, does the bare minimum, sometimes misses lectures, plays as much as studies.. specimen: gordon

3) SLaCKer cum scraper: doesnt do tutorials, doesnt go lectures, sleep depravation on eve of tests/exams a common sight, last min adrenaline pumping cramming, plays TOO much...
