shows n real life
in the new phase of life, after much grumbling over gvt's pay hike, it was down to the 2nd interview. it went quite ok, except my would-be boss even selected is french, and i had to"har" a few times.. "sorry, i dun quite catch u".. interviews make me feel so fake... the 3 strengths n 3 weaknesses one stumped me.. cos weakness i dunno wad to say.. i said "uhm, i think i look young".. but strengths i juz sian .. good interpersonal, analytical, determined etc.. i even made fellow mexican cheater javier a scapegoat.. saying that i did a project wif him(CCN2) and said his aim was juz to pass the project while mine was to do the best i can... hah.. well, only the latter statement was false..
been watching the o.c, now at season 3 epi 10.. although it got so murky wif season 2, wif the shooting, the drugs, the lesbianism, slping wif fren's mum, alchololism, death of granddad, the porno, all the american supposed issues.. yet the dialogue is still so nice, n seth n summer r/s is a joy to behold.. i always loved summer from the start, preferring her to mischa .. n there she goes in her bimbotic yet intelligent way and her simpleminded ness n her divaish ways.. n all the ups n downs still conceal the values n morals of individuals. is like the LDR when marissa goes to public schooling. the maintaining of r/s, trust issues even when they are no longer in the same school, while the possible complications tat can arise when going to colleges, to fight for one's dream or to follow the loved one's. can be applicable to spore context too. still, one roots for ryan's masculinity, his anger management, seth's motor mouth, summer's cuteness n popular-queen-mentality, marissa's emotional plateaus, and of cos the other supporting actors' predictament.. and of cos the family's together ness, n how they solve problems.. still a great show to watch wif a soothing sound track n apt songs..
the other show is shen diao.. horrible acting.. irritating cries of gu gu and guo er keep ringing.. and the computer graphics n real life story dun really mix well.. but still being a jin yong xiao shuo, it is still entertaining to see all the moves, and recall the plot.. but the chinese is really cheem, its a gd show to improve ur chinese n spew those 4 letter words..
on a side note, i had a taste of msu last night.. while waiting for jen to finish her OT(on her 2nd day of work!), i accompanied carol to this citispa cocktail dress party.. well i din go in but the top 3 finalists actually came out to the lobby area where i was chatting to carol.. wahh i wanted to take pic wif them sia hahaha.. but felt it was prob bad for carol's image so i nonchalantly told her to go wif them , while stealing a few glances..
