At World's End

Impromptu decision to watch Pirates of the Caribbean turned out to be a good choice for it is really one of the best shows i have watched so far. Consider me a biased critic for i so love,admire n enjoy mimicking the pirate lingo, the banter between captains, men, fishmen, pirate lords and the old Victorian English language. The first thing you have to do is try to recall what happened in the previous 2 prequels. All i could salvage from my memory was that they fought on a wheel in the cannibal island, then there was this new nemesis called Davey Jones with his tentacles beard who leads the ship The Flying Dutchman and with his crew of undead fish men, comprising bootstrap bill who is young will turner's dad. As Davey Jones pines for his long lost love, his only way to actually die is to pierce the heart which is kept far far away and jack sparrow retrieved the chest. In the onslaught that followed, jack was banished to the davey jones locker where he is cursed, dead and left to go crazy. The 2nd episode wasnt that nice because it left viewers wanting since there wasnt an end.. and my golly, what a good end it was. Before the 2nd epi signed off, the old nemesis from episode 1 barbosa was revived by the scary witch doctor who has an impact on the storyline as it progresses.

A tale of backstabbing and it was so good cos' u nvr knew what was coming.. and seeing all the familiar supporting actors/actresses/fishmen/pirates all made it all worthwhile.. the monkey, the parrot, the eyeball guy wif his dumb kaki, the 2 calvary guarding the chest who defected n of cos i earned 50 dollar off my movie date.. who bet wif me there wasnt any extra scenes after the credits.

And my fave scene in the movie.. yeah parlay scene

the main 6 characters in the movie and a sudden exchange of personnel.. the show started wif the retrieval of sparrow from the dead.. and then everything evolved as such... rivalrys renewed, trust issues, plots and backstabbing intentions conjured up all combined to make this show such a joy to watch as the inspiring elizabeth speech and the marrying of the golden couple .. johnny depp's really charming as his gift of the gab makes him so endearing to the viewers, keira's face is all so perfect as her complexion is so smooth n clean even after all the grime and mud of the pirate environment.. and she certainly looks gd in pirate wear..

kinda sad to see singapore depicted in such a way.. and all blown up too.. and chow's brief appearance has no meaty impact whatsoever on the show as he is killed off too quickly.. all the treasures are unveiled yet again wif the compass, the map and the heart, key and musical locket, not forgetting that infectious tune which is still stuck in my head.. and below u can see the effort of the make up artists in the intricate details.. and the ending was kinda expected since will turner was already dying and there was no choice but to let him attain immortality.

at least this show made up for the disappointment of spidey 3.. aye aye captain.
