Compare this wif the 1994 winning team of sherwood, wilcox, gillespie, SAS (shearer sutton), Le saux, hendry, short, flowers.. its been tough being a blackburn fan.. 10 yrs of relegation, semi survival, UEFA cup exp, winning coca cola cup once and now they are 5th! Champs league a reality! it also doesnt help that they keep buying players esp ex man u players which are past their prime..

nevertheless, spurs-bb was a thoroughly exciting game to watch. Gone was the leaky defence that was commonly assoc wif blackburn.. now embrace the slick passing and their irritating pacey forwards of dickov and bellamy, wif the guai lan ness of neill, bellamy and savage, has proved to be a good system.. they can also switch to a bigmansmallman system wif kuqi winning the headers. their fight back agst spurs was exemplary.. apart from the 1st 2 dubious goals that keane scored.. they deserved to at least win.. esp when bellamy scored, the ecstasy was evident.. but sadly the cruel football world has proved that the ball is round.. wif lennon striding past gray n crossing for mido to score.. A gutsy showing but no returns!
