ReDanG

... lemme start on my redang trip.. it seems tat every holiday i go out of spore wif frens.. 1st batam, then genting, then aussie, then vietnam, then now Redang... it all started in the sleazy complex of Golden Mile, as we boarded the coach i glanced at our coach mates.. this happy couple sat behind me wif their lil cute kid.. then got the 4 gals in front.. then the trip begun! After a Ramly stopover, the screening of SNAKEMAN put many to sleep, but then the appearance of SNOREMAN disrupted the peace.. the innocuous looking daddy started his torture of his fellow passengers.. even armed wif my muvo i was unable to block out the irritant noise..... we reached this mini jetty where we ate the famous cmi mee goreng n the looks like leftover food nasi goreng..n then realised tat this wasnt our jetty.. ours was supposed to be the lower class one.. so we went over to the other jetty n found tat we were the only 6 pple there.. they din even bother to get a boat for us.. they decided to tompang us on a neighbouring boat.

Next was the sight of our resort..REDANG MUTIARA.. pretty much shocking cos i was expecting a classier resort.. other boatists even commented tat our place looked haunted... well we got down n found tat we were the only 6 on the island!! then a look at our bed n toilet n those used to luxury or basic amenities were disappointed.. the conditions were wat i had expected in viet.. turns out it was a switch of scenarios.. anyway at least our beach looked good.. like some picture postcard
















after unpacking, we went to soak in the sea, play volleyball, n pretty much explored our whole stretch of island within the span of an hr.. then came lunch which wasnt very appetizing... after lunch, we went down to marine cove to snorkel.. it was there where we took the most exciting highlight of the trip.. the ultra fast bumpy speedboat marshalled by daredevil Sam n his driver... it was gd to see people again after being isolated

on our island.. so alike LOST.. snorkelling was fun.. seeing baby fishes, corals n other sea creatures.. upon finding a SHOP, we went for a snack break.. twisties n chips... then weiming felt like going snorkelling in xz's pee.. cos both of them needed to pee n went to the sea.. xz juz stood there n pee so untactical but wm even worse, brought a mask down to snorkel ard n snorkeled in the direction where pee was heading.. in the end he din even pee!! i guess pple haf diff fetishes haha..sadly we went bak to our place, washed up n got rdy for dinner.. we negotiated another ride bak to civilisation.. long beach.. wif mo mo cha n disco.. as ah sam took the opportunity to qiao us again by demanding 25 a head if not bak by 10 pm... so we went over to long beach, risking our lives in the dangerous boat ride.. summore so dark.. then we went to become freeloaders at redang bay resort.. the food was damn gd compared to ours.. i think got 5 meat.. buffet style..but we had to blend in wif the crowd so we chose 2 angmoh mums to sit wif to avoid being caught.. we then headed bak our island since our time was up, armed wif titbits, beer n stuff.. then had a late nite gossip session...

DAY 2
some woke up catch sunrise but it was obscured.. we then prepared for one whole day at long beach since there was simply nothing to do at our resort liao..the snorkelling at long beach was different in the sense tat it had baby sharks.. n then after tat we went to the real Laguna Redang resort .. the real holiday place.. we had our lunch there.. then went abt the island.. visiting mo mo cha wif our star photographer yaya snapping away... we had ice cream, ABC, Longan Ice thruout the hot day then had dinner at this small joint where we were depicted as aliens.. the weather had turned bad by evening time n it started raining.. so we sought shelter, wondering how ah sam was going to come n fetch us bak... we waited, talked cok n miracalously he appeared all drenched.. it was amazing tat he managed to steer thru the storm.. we then waited for the storm to cease n went bak to our stretch of beach.it was there where we were traumatised by this huge monitor lizard which restricted us to only one bathroom.. i rose for sunrise but couldnt catch much... but its quite a nice feeling waiting for nite to turn day.. accompanied wif music from muvo wif songs like from the beach so apt.. haha...

Day 3
we woke for bfast then had to jungle trek to the next island to board the ferry... tat sums up the whole redang trip... dun ever book redang mutiara or redang wisana!!! in retrospect, it was gd tat we booked the LC version cos' u wouldnt appreciatiate the gd food n comfort of the real resort ..

now its bak to sch n time to mug...
